October 17, 2022. A Twin Cities-based private family foundation makes an anonymous donation of $50,000 to Rebuild Ukraine, putting the total amount of funds raised over $500,000 mark.
October 16, 2022. A fundraiser at the New Life Presbyterian Church brings in Roseville, Minnesota brings in over $1,000.
October 9, 2022. A Capella Romana Benefit Concert at Valparaiso University raises over $3,000 for Rebuild Ukraine. We are grateful to Rev. Prof. Nicholas Denysenko for organizing the event.
September17, 2022. A Rebuild Ukraine Fundraiser at the Ukrainian Heritage Festival organized by the Ukrainian American Community Center in Minneapolis. We are grateful to Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors for their witness and participation. Over $1,000 raised.
July 21, 2022. A professor turned sniper: a TV report about a Ukrainian patriot, Yurii Chernomorets by Richard Reeve of KSTP TV. REBUILD UKRAINE is honored to support Yurii’s Voluntary Defense Unit with protective gear, such as camouflage uniforms, goggles, knee pads, military backpacks, and more.
July 9, 2022. A Benefit for the Children of Ukraine at Art’s House Gallery. In July, an art gallery in River Falls, Wisconsin is running a benefit exhibit with the participation of local artist, who donated their work for the education and rehabilitation of the children of Ukraine. The show starts on June 30 and will run until July 30. For the opening of the show, join Dr. Paul Gavrilyuk on July 9 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at River Walk Square, 127 N Main St River Falls, WI 54022. The fundraiser will benefit REBUILD UKRAINE educational projects in Montenegro, Lithuania, and Ukraine.
June 30, 2022. Rebuild Ukraine delivers over $370,000 in vital humanitarian aid, including grants for the education of refugee children in Lithuania and Montenegro.
June 27, 2022. The Harvest Sunday Collection at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, was dedicated to the work of Rebuild Ukraine for the education and rehabilitation of refugee children in Montenegro and Ukraine.
June 18, 2022. As Ukrainian refugees struggle to find schools, a Minnesota non-profit steps in to help by Richard Reeve. This KSTP TV Eye Witness news report covers Rebuild Ukraine’s support of the education of 30 Ukrainian refugee children at the Erudito Lyceum in Kaunas, Lithuania. The report features a testimonial by a refugee mother, Iryna Pavlyk, whose son, Artem, is studying at the school thanks to the scholarship from Rebuild Ukraine.
May 31, 2022. Rebuild Ukraine delivers over $300,000 in direct humanitarian aid to Ukraine’s defenders and refugees. Over 7,000 tourniquets, two emergency vehicles, and over 600 packs of prescription medications delivered.
May 20, 2022. A private family foundation based in the Twin Cities (Minnesota) provided $50,000 for the humanitarian work of Rebuild Ukraine. The funds will be used to acquire 2,000 tourniquets and support the education of refugee children.
May 17, 2022. A Rebuild Ukraine fundraiser at Carondelet Village in St Paul, Minnesota organized by Ms Cheryl Brown and Ms Krista Okins with the participation of Dr. Ora Itkin playing on the piano.
May 15, 2022. Two Rebuild Ukraine fundraisers at St Patrick Catholic Church in Hudson, Wisconsin. We are grateful to Rev. John Gerritts and Prof. Heidi Giebel for welcoming Rebuild Ukraine’s for welcoming Rebuild Ukraine’s president and supporting our humanitarian work. A special word of gratitude goes to the local chapters of the Knights of Columbus and the Council of Catholic Women for their contributions.

April 25, 2022. Catholic college professor promotes iconography project to aid Ukraine by Laura Leraci. This Catholic News Service article covers a Rebuild Ukraine charitable icon sale organized by the Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer Glen, Illinois. Over $20,000 was raised to provide tourniquets for Ukraine’s defenders and to send a grant to the Pirogov First Voluntary Mobile Military Hospital in Kyiv, Ukraine.
April 17, 2022. Easter Collection at the Westminster Abbey (the heart of the Anglican Communion) was dedicated to Rebuild Ukraine’s humanitarian work. We are grateful to the Abbey and Rev Dr James Hawkey, a Canon Theologian to Her Majesty the Queen, for trusting the Rebuild Ukraine network with providing vital aid.

April 5, 2022. Rebuild Ukraine established a school in Budva, Montenegro for 100 refugee children and twenty refugee teachers from Ukraine by funding classroom space lease, school supplies, and teacher salaries for the months of April, May, and June. The school could use more help in summer. For a closer look at the school’s activities, watch this video.

March 20, 2022. We are grateful to Prof. Frederick D. Aquino for organizing a Rebuild Ukraine Fundraiser and information session at his parish, the Avenue B Church of Christ in Ballinger, Texas. Thanks are also due to Rev’d Dr. Frederick Schmidt and Rev’d Natalie Van Kirk for dedicating a Sunday collection in their parish, the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Brentwood, Tennessee, to Rebuild Ukraine. Total raised exceeded $13,000.
March 16, 2022. With the help of the office of Mr. Wes Taylor of Foley & Lardner, LLP, Rebuild Ukraine was incorporated in the state of Minnesota as a 501(c)(3) public charity. EIN 88-1252115.
March 1, 2022. The Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in St. Paul, Minnesota hosts a week-long fundraiser to help Rebuild Ukraine get off the ground. A special work of thanks to the parish council and especially to Dr. Frank Cerra (parish president), Fr Jonathan Proctor (parish rector), Ms. Joanne Bergman (parish bookkeeper), and Ms. Wendy Hyre (parish treasurer).
